New Scottish Jewellery Collection Inspiration

Hi,  Thought I would give you a look into the inspiration behind the new Scottish Thistle jewellery collection. 

Why Create a range?  Well there is a huge amount of excitement about the Scotland football team playing in the World Cup this year. With a house full of boys, it's pretty much a big thing. It made me think about how much the Scot's are loved when we go abroad. We have family in Canada and when we visit it is plain to see the Scottish Heritage there, that is fondly adored. So I guess it was that connection that made me develop a range of jewellery pieces that would make lovely gifts.

Will they have gift cards? As always I am designing a range of beautiful presentation cards that explain the jewellery collection. In the initial launch these will come in a beautiful LHG Designs branded box. Gift cards are being launches in the near future.

Where did the inspiration come from? The collection focuses on the beautiful Thistle - Scotland national flower. But of course it has LHG Designs signature style - adding a few accent beads. Creativity is always forefront of the designs - I select the perfect colour, size and shape to ensure it sits just right. I am lucky to have studied my product design degree in the beautiful capital city of Edinburgh. Living there for 4 years with Edinburgh castle as a backdrop gives you lots of inspiration.
